-Introduction-

Introduction

 Recently the interest for environmental problems has increased. We have to recognize actual condition of environmental problem properly as our first challenge that is the most fundamental and initial.

 Under these social background , we have developed autonomous mobile environmental monitoring robot capable of collecting a variety of information about the environment. During development, we pay attention to be minimized as much as possible the load the robot on the environment. We aimed to minimized the size of the robot for that. In addition, without human intervention as much as possible, We construct a system that allows the robot to continue monitoring activities autonomously over a long period of time. In addition to this, with the aim to develop a robot that are useful in society really, we focused to a reduction in operating costs and manufacturing cost.

 Future, in this project, we plan to go encourage the introduction of robots to organizations, which was developed in Japan and overseas, and we are going to do demonstration a lot.
